We are a professional accounting, tax and advisory practice registered with SAICA (South African Institute of Chartered Accountants) and use leading cloud accounting technology to seamlessly support our clients in achieving their financial goals. THE ROLE
As part of our accounting team you will be the first line of support for our clients. You will be assigned directly to clients and relate closely with them, becoming as passionate about their businesses as they are. And through seeing their wins as team wins, you’ll be driven to use that passion and your accounting and systems expertise to grow their businesses and proactively solve the challenges they face.
RESPONSIBILITES
Using leading cloud-based accounting systems, for your assigned clients:
• Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts
• Allocate transactions to appropriate general ledger accounts
• Calculating and posting and monthly journals required
• Maintenance of fixed assets registers
• Maintenance of online inventory systems
• Maintenance of online document management systems
• Preparation of payment batches
• Maintenance of online accounts receivable systems
• Processing of payroll
• Preparation of monthly Income Statements (Profit & Loss) and Balance Sheets
• Preparation of VAT reports and VAT201 submissions on SARS efiling
• Preparation and submission of monthly PAYE (EMP 201) and bi-annual reconciliation (EMP501)
• COIDA annual returns

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper

• Great verbal and written communication abilities
• Own transport
ACADEMIC
A bookkeeping or accounting qualification with a recognised tertiary institution.
WHAT WE’RE OFFERING
R10,000 – R14,000 per month depending on experience.
